Weight of Carrying heritage............Rural IndiaPosted by Balesh (Sydney, Australia) on 6 February 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. . Subject: This tribal women in Southern Indian state of Andra-Pradesh doesn't seems to be very weight conscious. Her silver jewelry (and may be other metals also) is adding up to few extra pounds to her - and she seems to be fine with it. In many parts of India - women wear up to 5 (may be more) pounds of jewelry - mostly of silver - as part of their heritage. This usually covers from toe to head.
