Weight of Carrying heritage............Rural India

Subject: This tribal women in Southern Indian state of Andra-Pradesh doesn't seems to be very weight conscious.

Her silver jewelry (and may be other metals also) is adding up to few extra pounds to her - and she seems to be fine with it.

In many parts of India - women wear up to 5 (may be more) pounds of jewelry - mostly of silver - as part of their heritage.

This usually covers from toe to head.

Rural India - Real India:
As a small window to Rural India, I am starting this series with few selected images showing very rustic life of North India (mostly from Haryana, Rajasthan and few from other parts like Andra Pradesh and Orissa).

[Note: Image quality of this picture is not justified with the subject, as I had only this low still quality of 1mp camera when I encountered these people of Andra Pradesh]

If you are also intrested in Hindi or Urdu Poetry, you are very much welcome to my Poetry Blog: baleshd.blogspot.com
